After three months of working, I was laid off due to company restructuring. I was surprised, anxious, and uncertain about what to do next. The Philippine market is undergoing challenging times. I don’t expect I’ll secure a job that easily now.
But what I do know is this: I’m now given the opportunity to find a better company. Where not only is it financially stable, but I am also mentored to grow and bring out the best in my abilities. It’ll take some time, and that’s where my patience will be tested.
Three months of experience is better than no experience. I can only say that in these times of uncertainty, we continue to push forward, strive for happiness, and not lose ourselves in the process. The important thing is I’m still living, and that’s already enough.
